Social Hub: ENTER Ambassadors

The 4th Result focuses on the design of a creative Digital Hub in order to link youth NEETs with the wider market. After the implementation of the webinars’ partnership wants to nurture and multiply the growing creative and entrepreneurial spirit. The Social Entrepreneurial Digital Hub will allow participants to connect, communicate, engage and collaborate. Moreover this Digital Hub will act as a connection between youth NEETs and technology & Social Entrepreneurial world. “Digital Innovation Hubs are putting digital technology to work on real-world problems” (European Commission, “Digital Innovation hubs helping public sector and SMEs in dealing with COVID-19 pandemic”, 25 March 2020).

The aim of the Partnership is to design a Hub with specific actions and tools, in order to support mainly the webinars’ participants and the youth network of partners so as to act as a multiplier for the project results. In the frame of this project and funding, it isn't realistic to design a full functional Hub with many tools such as mentoring/coaching services, co-operative workspace, fully functional educational platform, lectures, workshops etc. Thus the partnership decided to design the Social Entrepreneurial Digital Hub with the following content-actions:
  •  Access to the 3rd Result, educational e-learning platform
  • Mentoring for webinars participants for their transformation to Ambassadors
  • Networking between Ambassadors and other young people of the creative, cultural and social sector

Participants of the webinars will act as Ambassadors, inviting them to “give back” to their local communities. After they've been through the Webinars training, we invite them to 'give back' by becoming Social Entrepreneurial Ambassadors. As part of this role, they become mentors for other young people from the partners’ network or individuals who want to turn their creative idea into a real entrepreneurial venture. The impact of the Social Entrepreneurial Digital Hub will be:
  •  Ambassadors will publicize the projects results in their networks and local communities
  •  increase the sense of active citizenship for the Ambassadors
  •  Ambassadors become involved in professional and partners’ networks which may benefit their career and enhance their development
  • Asking for Ambassadors to transfer the new knowledge and skills acquired during webinars to others, is the best way to install the digital and entrepreneurial skills (teaching is a fruitful way to learn)
  • Interaction and connection of young people outside the partnership with Ambassadors

The Social Entrepreneurial Digital Hub will be designed based on the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1). The design of the Hub based on the WCAG 2.1 will facilitate the interaction with young people with disabilities. The Social Entrepreneurial Digital Hub can easily be transferred in the youth empowerment of all situations and in all European countries. Especially for the VET and Adult Sector an upgraded version can easily be transferred to support VET professionals or adults who are seeking for further professional development and guidance.
